Division of Information Technology, Engineering and the Environment
UniSA's Division of Information Technology, Engineering and the Environment is based at Mawson Lakes.

The Division offers education and research programs within Australia and internationally to educate and develop professionals in a range of discipline areas:

  • Information and communications technologies, engineering and systems
  • Manufacturing and energy technologies, engineering and management
  • Sciences, technologies, engineering and management of natural and built environments
  • Mathematical modelling and statistics

The Division's schools and research centres have a proven ability in developing educational programs, courses and research in collaboration with industry both locally and internationally and in response to market demand.

The Division has established an excellent record of securing funding from Australian competitive grants. A significant proportion of the Division's research is conducted in cooperation with an extensive and expanding network of national and international industrial and research organisations.

The Division's researchers are partners in nine Australian Cooperative Research Centres.

The Mawson Centre is the home of the Division office, and is also used for lectures, tutorials and various events throughout the year.
