The Library
The Mawson Lakes Library is a school/community library providing library and information resources and services for the local community and the Mawson Lakes School. Services include City of Salisbury community information, internet and email training, access to computers, Justice of the Peace, Story Time and Giggle Time sessions for under fives.

Justice of the Peace
The JP service at the Mawson Lakes Library is a free service to the community. No bookings are required.

Free Computer Access
Members an tourists can access library computers for internet access and word processing for 55minutes per day. Black and white and/or colour printing is available at a cost.
Internet content in the Library is unfiltered and children under the age of 18 are required to have authorisation from their parent/guardian before access is granted.
Wireless Internet
Members with wi-fi enabled laptops can register and login to the secure wireless network within the library. Download limits apply.
Training and Support
Internet and webmail training one-to-one sessions are available in the Library but bookings are essential
One Book One Salisbury
Salisbur's biggest book club highlights different authors and titles each year. Borrow the book from the library, then attend an event with the author for a chance to meet and hear them, as well as get a book signed. One Book On Salisbury runs from May to August each year.
Author Events
The Salisbury Libraries host local and interstate authors throughout the year. Authors may visit at the invitation of the library or in conjunction with the Advertiser Little or Big Book clubs. Subscribe to the monthly e-newsletter to ensure you don't miss the publicity for these interesting and entertaining events.
Mawson Lakes Book Worms Book Club
The Library can provide packs of 10 books on a monthly basis with a choice of over 300 titles to your book club. You may wish to set one up or join the existing Book Worms Club. Enquiries to Frances Walls email frances44@adam.com.au or phone 0438400799.
Summer Reading Club
During the summer holidays, children up to the age of 18 can register and record all the titles they read. The library rewards the most avid readers but everyone who participates has the opportunity to have fun and win prizes. The Club is promoted in early December. Enquiries 84068237.
School Holidays
During the school holidays programs for children of all ages, including preschool, are held across all of the library branches. Pick up a flyer before the holidays start or subscribe to our monthly e-newsletter for information about programs and bookings.
